A relaxed spring wedding at Glasgow’s Engine Works
I just shot another gorgeous spring wedding at Glasgow Engine Works and honestly, I fall more in love with this venue every time I’m there. This was my fourth time shooting at this space, and the industrial vibes mixed with all those twinkly festoon lights still create pure magic for photos. It’s that perfect blend of raw and romance.
Even though rain tried to crash the party, we ended up with these moody clouds that made for the dreamiest backdrop. And those long tapered candles? Absolute perfection against all that beautiful brick and steel.
I always gravitate toward candid, in-between moments that tell your real story. Nothing too posed or stuffy – just authentic, editorial shots that capture how your day actually felt. Throwing in just a sprinkling of natural & relaxed posed couple’s portraits. 10 – 15 minutes does the trick.
If you’re hunting for a venue with serious character that photographs like a dream, Glasgow Engine Works delivers every single time. There’s a reason it’s become one of my go-to spots in the city.
