A laid-back, romantic wedding ceremony at Brooklyn Bridge, followed by a Williamsburg reception.

There’s something about the days leading up to a wedding that feels different, quieter, more reflective, full of excitement but also a kind of stillness. I remember R + P hopping off of their bicycles so effortlessly when they arrived for the shoot. Just one of those couple’s that fill the space with warmth and good vibes.

Copenhagen has this effortless charm, colorful harbors, cobbled streets, old castles, and hidden corners where real moments happen. It’s not about posing perfectly; it’s about walking through the city hand in hand, laughing at the way the wind catches a veil, or stopping for coffee in a quiet café. The best photos happen when couples forget the camera is even there.

We were just wandering, soaking in the city, letting the day unfold naturally. Those little in-between moments, the glances, the inside jokes, the way they lean into each other, those are the ones that tell the real story.

In the end, engagement photography isn’t about the perfect shot; it’s about capturing something real. A moment of excitement before the wedding, a snapshot of love exactly as it is. And years down the line, when couples look back at these photos, I hope they don’t just see what they looked like, I hope they remember exactly how they felt.
